Unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of international project for visually impaired youth
Friday – July 28th 2017 08:45 – 16:00
Come to “Window To The World”, the open day of International Camp on Computers and Communication (ICC) on Friday the 28th of July. The ICC is a summer camp for blind and partially sighted youngsters from more than 15 European countries. At the camp, they attend workshops about new technologies and social skills, and get the opportunity to establish a long-lasting international network. This way, they improve their independence and get ready for higher education or the labour market.
ICC invites you to be part of this amazing project for a day.
See with your own eyes what ICC means for blind and partially sighted youngsters. Helga Stevens (Member of the European Parliament) and Katlijn Malfliet (vice-chancellor of Leuven University) will outline their views on inclusion in higher education or the labour market. Experience what it means to be blind or partially sighted with our simulation. And there is no better way to feel the impact of ICC than to attend a workshop with the very participants.
