For all blind and visually impaired youngsters
You are blind or partially sighted between 16 and 20, a networker that loves travelling meeting new people and culture and interested in computers and new technologies ?
Then …. ICC is the place to be!!!
…a location, somewhere in Europe, More than 60 blind and partially sighted youngsters from 16 to 21 years old, originating from all over the continent, gather there. This gathering only has one purpose: to open the path to new possibilities and more independence, whether it is for their studies, work or spare time. In order to do this, they can enroll in workshops on accessible and assistive technology, but also concerning social skills, sports, music and much more. On the other hand, there is also time for culture and leisure time activities, creating the ideal environment to build connections and friendships beyond all borders. This is, moreover, streamlined by a team of volunteers, who are always glad to help where needed.”

ICC is a gift
- ICC offers an incentive for exchanging experiences, for taking the initiative, for engaging and becoming an expert in one´s needs – and for further technical, social, pedagogical and intercultural work and co-operation. ICC is also a good opportunity for experts taking part: to learn – hands on and not in theory – from each other and to get to know concepts and methods applied in other countries.
- Last but not least ICC offers a unique chance to the local organisers to make the public aware of their work and the need for integration and inclusion. The big audience the camps always get as “sensational events” with technical, social and international highlights in local, national and international press, radio and TV.
The refreshing international atmosphere away from the often difficult daily life, the freedom in sharing, contents and methods
