We know you miss it. Meeting old friends and making new ones. Travelling and expending your horizons, discovering new ways to live your live to the fullest, independently, but together, learning from each other. We know you miss the freedom you felt before, in life ,and on our previous ICC Events. And while we can’t bring it back fully at this time, we’re going to get pretty close, as the first ever digital edition of the ICC Weekend for visually impaired or blind young people is here.
From Friday the 13th to Sunday the 15th of November 2020, We bring the unique ICC experience right to the comfort of your home. With informative technology and social skills workshops, enjoyable leisure time activities and plenty of opportunity to talk and have fun, all key ingredients for a great ICC weekend will be right at your fingertips. For all who’s close bye, we’ll even organise an informal real life meet-up after the event.
Are you hearing of us for the first time or are you an ICC-veteran? Do you want to know everything about apps that make your life more accessible or learn how to start editing audio and producing music without sight? Would you like to become a master debater or a master chef? Are you in for a serious escape room challenge or would you rather play board games or hang out in our virtual ICC café? It doesn’t matter. ICC Weekend 2020 (The Digital Edition)
When?
Friday November 13th, 19:00 to Sunday November 15th 16:00
Where?
All workshops and meetings will be held online using the zoom platform. We encourage to attend them in a quiet place though, with a stable internet connection.
For whom?
- Blind or visually impaired people between 16 and 30 years old with a good working knowledge of English and basic computer and internet skills.
- Professionals and people interested in our project can also apply to listen in to , and participate in certain workshops.)
Price?
15 euro, including all workshop sessions, leisure time activities and other meetings.
